Windows 7 Controlmode

Here is a neat little trick for Windows 7 users. Creates a folder on your desktop that lets users access all of the operating system's control panels from within a single folder.

First right click on your desktop bring your mouse down to new then from flyout menu click folder.

Now you should have a new folder on your desktop. Right click on the new folder and click rename.

Now copy and paste this code starting with ControlMode in the highlighted area.
ControlMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
On some computers copy and paste gives an error. If this happens you will have to type in the code. Be sure to type it exactly as above starting with ControlMode. Was this post helpful? Click thumbs up for yes down for no.
